These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of homeschoolingadventuresns.org (the “Site”), operated by Homeschooling Adventures Organization (HSAO) (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1) Who the Site is for
The Site is intended to provide information about HSAO programs, events, and community opportunities for homeschooling families and supporters in HRM and Nova Scotia.
2) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the Site for unlawful purposes
Interfere with the Site’s security or operation
Attempt to access areas of the Site you are not authorized to access
Upload or submit harmful code, spam, or abusive content
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
3) Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site content (text, logos, images, graphics, and design) is owned by HSAO or used with permission and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use (reproduction, republishing, distribution, or modification) requires our written permission.
4) Event registrations and participation
If you register for an event or program:
You agree to provide accurate information
You understand that spaces may be limited and registrations may be confirmed only after any required deposit/payment (if applicable)
You agree to follow event rules, safety instructions, and venue policies
We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove a participant from an event if behavior is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive.
5) User submissions
If you submit content (e.g., messages, feedback, photos you share with us), you grant HSAO permission to use it for operational purposes and communications, unless you tell us otherwise. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
6) Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is.” While we try to keep information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that the Site will always be error-free or available.
Information on the Site is general and for community/program information purposes only. It is not professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
7) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSAO will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
8) Third-party services and links
The Site may include links to third-party websites or services (e.g., venues, social media, payment processors). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
