Homeschooling Adventures
Adventures, learning, and community for homeschool families in Nova Scotia
Welcome!
HSAO is a registered non-profit society in Nova Scotia supporting homeschool families with inclusive and affordable educational, recreational, and community-building experiences for homeschooling families across Nova Scotia.
HSAO provides consistent field trips, camps, and programs that build confidence, connection, and a love of learning.
Trust
HSAO is run by homeschooling parents who share the same journey — planning, showing up, and staying accountable to each other along the way.
Learning
Our field trips, camps, and workshops turn Nova Scotia into a classroom. From visits to dairy farms and fire stations to exploring museums, theatres, and forests, these adventures help children develop a love for learning that goes well beyond textbooks
Belonging
Every homeschooling family in Nova Scotia has a place at HSAO. We come together to share everyday joys and navigate the challenges of homeschooling, building friendships and a community that makes this journey more joyful and meaningful for everyone.
