Celebrate Valentine’s Day with friends old and new!
Enjoy a $1 bake sale, book swap, card exchange, and more. We’ll have a selection of books for children, teens, and adults, sorted by genre. If you can, please bring gently used books you’re ready to pass on for others to enjoy. You’re welcome to take home new reads too—this is meant to be a fun, low-pressure way to share resources and spark new interests. We’re also happily accepting bake sale donations (homemade or store-bought).
A list of names will be sent out on February 6, divided by age groups, for a Valentine’s card exchange. Kids can make or sign cards at home, then bring them to trade with their group at the event. If you’d like, you can also bring a small pack of cards or craft supplies to share (markers, stickers, tape, etc.).
What to bring (optional):
Books to swap (all ages/reading levels welcome)
Valentine’s cards (or supplies to make them)
$1 bills/coins for the bake sale
A baked good to donate (nut-free options appreciated if possible)
A few notes to help things run smoothly:
Please label any bake sale items with ingredients/allergens if you can.
Caregivers remain responsible for their children during the event.
Everyone is welcome—this is a relaxed, inclusive meetup with plenty of space for chatting, browsing books, and connecting with other homeschool families.
We can’t wait to celebrate together and keep building community
